Slow and steady wins the race. And in the case of Filmplace, who has been 1 year in the market with a model similar to that of Airbnb but for the media industry.

Till date, Filmplace has attracted over 1,800 users and over 700 global locations.

Lately, CEO and founder Lincoln Lin, has been invited for interviews with CNA and 8Days magazine, along with other features about Filmplace’s extension in the local and global market such as e27, Tech in Asia, to name a few.

E27 and Tech in Asia are some of the well-recognized media platform for the technology industry to be up-to-date about the latest technological trends, events and startups happening around Asia.

Filmplace growth has been steady over the past few months and has actually hit record breaking revenue during the Covid-19 post lockdown period.

Lincoln is currently in Korea for the second leg of the Korea Startup Grand Challenge (KSGC) that started in Jan 2021, a startup accelerator program supported by the South Korea Government.

In short, startups will get additional financial incentives, and if they choose to establish their businesses in Korea, they will get additional support from the government.
