2021 is coming to an end.
We would like to first thank our community host and creatives, for making 2021 special for all of us at Filmplace. 🎉 With your support, we have launched many exciting features that make finding film locations easier than ever.
We would like to take this opportunity to look back on how we’ve developed our platform to that help location owners, and content creators connect to find locations easier!
1. COVID-19 Disinfectent service booking
Our COVID-19 Disinfectant service booking has helped over 100+ brands and content creators to secure disinfectant services. This will help protect your cast and crew safety while keeping our location owners safe. All this just by a single click to book your disinfectant services.
2. COVID-19 Vaccination Badge
At Filmplace, we adapt to the new norm as our platform can now help to verify if the individual is vaccinated or not. This allows location owners to decide if they want to accept the booking based on vaccination differentiation through our Vaccination Badge.
3. New inbox design
Our Improved Filmplace inbox allows you to use our new features where you can customize and add automatic messages, see and download all booking details and contracts, send images in the inbox, add emoji, and report potential fraud directly from the inbox page. We also added more details allowing you to get all the information you need at a glance.
4. Corporate invoice
Companies can now generate and get invoices billed to them directly through their Account details.
5. Filmpoints
We launched Filmplace in August 2021 to give back to our community where we partner with over 300+ brands to reward and surprise you with special gifts and vouchers.
6. Booking Date/Time Changes
You can now change the date or time for confirmed bookings without the need to contact Filmplace as long as both parties agreed with the new date change. Once accepted, the new date will be reflected in the booking details and itinerary.
7. Transaction History
You can also see and download your transaction history. This allows you to keep track of your spending or earnings within a glance making tax payment smoother and easier.
8. Vacant Film Locations
As a content creator, you can find vacant film locations directly from Filmplace just by ticking the “Vacant Property” box in the search page which includes HDBs, Apartments, Landed houses, etc – to make sure you are within the safe-distancing limit set by your respective government.

In 2022, we are looking to launch our iOS and Android application where all our users can get access to everything here directly from your mobile. We are building a platform for all the creative community to come together in one platform globally.
